WORKSHOPS

If you are a school, an academy, a voice teacher or voice specialist here the current workshops for your institution, for a group or association and the regularly online options.
Those are the ones actually presented at PEVoC 14 and 15 and The Voice Foundation Symposium 52nd and 53rd.

The first of the series: a practical and rational view of what was not clear in vocal technique/voice quality and development of the general musculoskeletal system contributions and responsibilities. The difference with usual body work is that it does not try to be useful but it is a precise mechanism based perspective of how voice is.

The second is getting directly into the positive contributions of the musculoskeletal system as usually not clear avoidances/defensive habits impacting voice efficiency. A very very useful tool to start progressing instead of micromanaging insufficiencies

The third is on something that musicians know in playing their instrument and that for voice was thought in a less obvious way from the restrictive idea that voice depends only on air and air flow pressure. In high level historical practices some body – musculoskeletal system- precise actions were erroneously called breath while they act into all the voice system so to be perceived as breath, but to implement them the just respiratory system has shown to be absolutely unable to attain those sophisticated high efficient results. This is because they do not originate from the respiratory system and have very music related stringent logics, so to become very intuitive. The workshop can be in the practical version or in the more theoretical one as I presented as a Poster at The Voice Foundation 52nd Symposium – 2023 Philadelphia

The fourth is on a very stringent singers question: breath. Breath has been hypothesised as isometric in itself – and on isometric concept I presented a isometric holding biomechanical contributions at PEVoC15 in Basic Science Biomechanics to nuance more precisely- you know the devil is in the details, also in biology. Here the reasons and useful of a broader view on forces acting into actual singing and singing management, so to have more tools and more appropriate for styles and voices. Always biomechanically and biologically based, as our instrument is.

The fifth is on a lifestyle consequence into voice. It has been in a more rationale based form a Poster at the Voice Foundation 53rd Symposium and in a more practical one as workshop at the PEVoC15. You can choose which one is more suited for your institution, school, voice specialists, students, artists.

The sixth is for a specific difficult technical question that can be never overcome and of really difficult solution. It is a convenient and easy way of unstuck and often simply solve this difficult and tricky segment. In here specifically for high range voice, there is also a version of this workshop for all voices – so just request it if better for you. And yes they are anatomically different questions that just were not thought as such.

The seventh is on a precise logic of training, overlooked by again a sort of airflow and respiratory all vision of voice, having shown fast and unprecedented results since it is a very precise and important human biomechanical logic. It was an oral presentation at the Voice Foundation 53rd Symposium – Philadelphia 2024 and can be in the practical version of it or the more rationale one as at the Voice Foundation. Choose the one more appropriate.

The eight is on a concept central to voice and voice production: the isometric. I presented it at PEVoC15 2024 in Basic Science Biomechanics session. It is in its true contributions more nuanced and this nuancing are at the basis of tools and solutions that have been one of my unprecedented results reasons since 15 years in both pathological or artistic voices, both in spontaneous and artistic phonation.
It can be as a more theoretical workshop or practical one, as better suited.

The ninth is on how hips are voice related and a precise voice quality/voice production fundamental subject. Again it can be in a more theoretical version with a series cases of voices refractory training/medical treatments or a more practical one with exercises and strategies of it. Originally presented as a the Voice Foundation 53rd Symposium – 2024 Philadelphia
